Los Alamos Region President and Director of Community Engagement Appointed to New Mexico Economic Recovery Council

Enterprise Bank & Trust’s Los Alamos Region President and Director of Community Engagement, Liddie Martinez, has been appointed to the New Mexico Economic Recovery Council by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham. The 15-person council is composed of business leaders from across the state charged with developing a plan to responsibly reopen the economy and fully reactivate the healthcare system. There are currently many unknowns with the COVID-19 environment.

"The bi-partisan, and highly diverse council was created to include representation from a cross section of industries and all areas of the state to fully understand the impact."

“Resources are more scarce in small, rural communities and supply chains more difficult to sustain. All New Mexicans and their unique situations need to be considered before distribution of resources can be determined,” Martinez says.

Martinez has known the Governor for almost 20 years in various capacities through her work with the State Government, involvement  as the Board President of Leadership New Mexico and her work as the President of the Los Alamos National Laboratory Major Subcontractor Consortium.  Martinez says, “The Governor has first-hand knowledge of my long standing advocacy work supporting local small and rural businesses.”
